Heads in the Sand

Understanding mental health – including how to talk about it and why we need to talk about it – is the first step towards healthier and happier lives for ourselves, our families, and our communities.

Zoom Presentation: Heads in the Sand
Saturday, September 25, 2021
9:30 am – 10:30 am

In the same way that all of us have physical health issues, almost all of us also have mental health issues. They can be anywhere from mild to life-altering, affecting our emotional, social, and psychological well-being.

Yet, there is a common mental health misconception that we are either “ok” or we are “broken.”  This deeply rooted misconception is among the reasons why we (as a society) are so far behind in understanding and treating mental health issues.

Join us and learn more about mental health and increasing emotional intelligence.
