An aggressive billboard campaign has taken root throughout Montana aimed at raising awareness of the need to improve the well-being of the state’s children.
The campaign coincides with Montana ranking 28th in the nation for overall child well-being, according to the 2013 National Kids Count Data Book.
“As a state, we should not be content with that,” said Todd Garrison, executive director of the Helena-based ChildWise Institute, a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of vulnerable and at-risk children and their families. “That is unacceptable.”
