Katherine (Kitty) Curtis was an attorney for 32 years and is a recently retired District Court Judge (18 years) in the Flathead County, Montana. Curtis was the first woman to serve as a District Judge in Flathead County. She also served on the Board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters from 1988-1995 and was Board President for two years. Additionally, Curtis was the chair of the Montana Council on Families from 1996-2000) and founded the CASA of Flathead County Advisory Council (1999 – 2012).
Her professional affiliations include: Montana Judges Association (retired District Court Council) from 2004-2011, Judicial Workload Committee, Case Processing Measures Committee Chair from 2008-2013 and member of the NW Montana Bar Association.
